Rabies Babies make fast, fun and angry songs about crashing the party and smashing the patriarchy. We are anarchic garage punk born from the DIY squat scenes of the 1980s & 90s New York and London. Our sound is raw and dirty, with a feel of early Black Flag, Kleenex and The Slits.
HISTORY:
Rabies Babies formed in 1998, we played our first gig in 1999 at a squat party in Bricklane, London and we have been playing ever since. We celebrated 25 years of playing gigs by making a 2025 calendar of gig flyers which include links to 10-ish minute videos of live clips, unreleased tracks, photos and chat.
POLITICS:
Rabies Babies are working class, intersectional feminists.
We believe in equal rights for all.
We stand with non binary and trans people.
We stand with the people of Palestine.
